About Darren
Darren Gervais-Harrison is an electrical engineer and project manager in Victoria. His work has been on healthcare and civic buildings—projects where scope, cost, and delivery have to line up.
He is running because City Hall is a system, and systems can be managed to deliver. This campaign is about productivity and execution, not left versus right. Victoria should work better for the people who live here.
What Darren will do
A Victoria that works — build more, spend smarter, move faster, live better.
-
Build homes faster
Measure homes delivered, not only approvals — and cut the time and cost of getting them built.
-
City Hall that delivers
Every public dollar needs a clear outcome. Publish costs, results, and stop what is not working.
-
Mobility that works
Move people and goods through a constrained city efficiently — transit, bikes, walking, and cars.
-
Safe, welcoming streets
People deserve dignity. Public spaces deserve standards. Those goals reinforce each other.
-
Wellbeing you can feel
Housing, parks, and services that work together — without promising what only the Province can deliver.
-
A city that works for builders and businesses
Faster permits, less friction, and room for companies to start, hire, and grow in Victoria.
-
Modern infrastructure
Build systems that are cheaper, smarter, and more resilient for the decades ahead.
-
Regional teamwork
Housing, transit, and safety do not stop at the municipal line — Victoria must lead with partners.
